Kaki Thieves by Heikala

from $120.00
sold out

This artwork was inspired by my trip to Osaka in November 2018. I visited Nara during that time and I remember eating super sweet and juicy kaki fruits there as they were in season. I wanted this painting to have a mix of fantasy and everyday life. This original painting is made with colored inks and it portrays a trio of tanuki causing mischief.

LIMITED EDITION

This print is part of a highly limited edition of 30 + 3AP. Once these prints are all sold, the artist will not be producing further prints of this image again.

Each print is numbered and embossed with Heikala’s signature.

PRINTED ON PREMIO UNRYU

This paper is a beautiful museum quality stock from Tokushima, made of mulberry, which is the silkworm’s favourite food. It features prominent silken threads which catch the light in interesting ways and ensure that every print within the edition is slightly unique in a subtle and organic way.

PRINTS ARE A3 IN SIZE (297 X 420MM)

Each print includes a handling area for editioning, embossing, and easy matting/framing. Exact image area is 246x365mm.

OPTIONAL FRAME

If you purchase the framed version, your print will ship mounted in the same frame depicted in the product images. The frame is made in Japan and is approximately 350x500mm, featuring a matte, natural wood and UV cutting acrylic (we prefer acrylic to glass due to weight and safety in earthquake prone Japan).

International SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN THE COST

Please be aware that due to the coronavirus, shipping may take quite a long time to certain countries. Please check our shipping page for more detailed information.

Prints generally ship out within 3 business days of your order. Framed prints ship out within 5-10 business days.

PURCHASE LIMIT OF ONE PRINT PER CUSTOMER

This is to avoid reselling. We apologise but we will have to refund orders containing multiple copies of a print. Purchasing one print from several different artists is no problem!
